Starting therapy is often a a big decision and the first steps can be daunting. Whether seeking therapy for yourself or your child, you might be experiencing some anxiety about this. My first commitment to you is to work on making you feel safe and supported at our initial meeting and throughout our work together.
My style is warm and interactive. Whether you feel stuck or unhappy about dynamics within your family, parenting, work, intimate relationships or are concerned about the struggles of your child, my goal is to collaborate with you from a position of curiosity. I want us to better understand your ‘stuck places’ and any fears that might be contributing to the stagnation. We will explore the coping skills you have outgrown and which no longer serve you and will work towards finding more effective ways of dealing with life’s present challenges.
